Before lighting your Votivo candle, always trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This simple step ensures a clean lighting experience and extends the candle's burn time. Light It Up

Candles have "memory," meaning the wax will only melt as far as it did the first time you lit it. To maximize your candle's performance, allow it to either burn for at least four hours on its first use or until the wax is completely melted from edge to edge. Cool + Rest

After enjoying the scent of your candle, extinguish the flame and let it cool completely. Once the candle has cooled, trim the wick again to 1/4 inch.
