Use and Care:
Snip Snip. Trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting. This will allow for a clean lighting experience and extend the burn time of your candle.
Light it up. Candles have memory. So, to get the most out of your Votivo, let it burn. A good rule of thumb is to leave it lit for at least four hours, especially the first time.
Cool + Rest. Extinguish the flame and let your candle completely cool. Snip the wick again and get ready to enjoy your next Votivo moment.
Warning. Burn within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children. To prevent fire, place only on heat resistant surfaces. Avoid drafts. Avoid cold surfaces such as glass or marble. Keep foreign matter and wick trimmings out of candle.

Lovely refreshing scent, makes the room brighter. Candle burns nice and even and seems to last a long time. I never measured the hours but I have bought other candles before and keep going back to Votivo.

This is my all-time most favorite candle. It was given to me as a gift many years ago and I have yet to burn it, literally. I simply leave it in my guest room and pleasant aroma permeates the room. It still smells as it did when I first received it. I've bought add'l Votivo candles over the years--always the Sage-- to give as gifts, including recently for Christmas. PLEASE DO NOT EVER STOP MAKING THE FORGOTTEN SAGE CANDLE, and don't ever sell your company to some larger candle maker. Finding really good quality candles with pleasing, natural scents is becoming more and more challenging. I am very grateful for Votivo.
