Use and Care:
Snip Snip. Trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting. This will allow for a clean lighting experience and extend the burn time of your candle.
Light it up. Candles have memory. So, to get the most out of your Votivo, let it burn. A good rule of thumb is to leave it lit for at least four hours, especially the first time.
Cool + Rest. Extinguish the flame and let your candle completely cool. Snip the wick again and get ready to enjoy your next Votivo moment.
Warning. Burn within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children. To prevent fire, place only on heat resistant surfaces. Avoid drafts. Avoid cold surfaces such as glass or marble. Keep foreign matter and wick trimmings out of candle.

have been buying these candles since 2000 when I was in High School. I used to buy them in in small shop in my town and then from Candle Delirium in West Hollywood. Votivo candles have always been a staple to me. The smell of the larger candle I bought doesn’t smell like the smaller candles. The first candle I bought was shattered and they sent me a new one. The new candle they scent still doesn’t smell like the smaller ones. I am not sure I will be order and it’s disappointing.

I never received my candles. I remember now that you are very slow in shipping. I think you use the Postal service If I remember correctly. For some reason USPS does not know how to deliver to our unit and they don't leave a notice.

Scent is much too sweet and perfum'ish. The name 'Teak' implies that it would be a more woodsy, earthy scent, which is what we were hoping for.
