Spiced Chai Cocktail & Spiced Chai Latté Recipes

 

You may have tried a Spiced Chai Latté, but have you ever tasted a Spiced Chai Cocktail?

We love all things Spiced Chai, so we’re kicking our drinks and fragrance series up a notch for this fall fragrance. We asked the Anchorage (Greenville, SC) to burn our Spiced Chai Candle and create a craft cocktail based on the warm & cozy notes of this seasonal favorite. Then, we also asked our perfumers to create a chai latté recipe to complement the fragrance.  Our sweater-weather-loving hearts can’t get enough of these delicious drinks!

Spiced Chai Cocktail Recipe

To make your Spiced Chai Cocktail at home, here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3oz Chai Tea
  • 5oz Heavy Cream
  • 5oz 1776 Rye Whiskey
  • 5oz Cointreau

Step One. Mix rye whiskey and chai tea into heated glass or mug.

Step Two. Whip heavy cream and cointreau in mixing bowl until desired frothiness is achieved.

Step Three. Pour into heated glass, mixing all ingredients and garnish with fresh grated orange and cinnamon. Serve hot.

Now all you need is your go-to fall sweater, a good friend’s company and a cozy fireplace.  Cheers!

Spiced Chai Latté Recipe

To make your Spiced Chai Latté at home, here’s what you’ll need:

  • 5 sticks of Cylon Cinnamon crushed plus extra for zesting 
  • 25 cardamom pods crushed 
  • 1/4 whole nutmeg grated 
  • 10 cloves 
  • 1 slice of a lemon plus extra for zesting 
  • 1/3 cup Assam black tea
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin purée 
  • 3 1/2 tbsp brown sugar 
  • 3 cups of milk 
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 

Step One. Combine all ingredients except the vanilla, lemon zest, and cinnamon zest in a sauce pot and put over medium-high heat.

Step Two. Stir frequently keeping a close eye on the pot. The milk will become frothy as it nears boiling.

Step Three. As soon as the milk begins to boil and rise, remove from heat and strain with a fine mesh strainer.

Step Four. Stir the vanilla into the strained tea. Divide into mugs and add a generous amount of cinnamon zest and just a touch of lemon zest. Enjoy!
